I went to the physics camp on 29 and 30 May. IT WAS SUPER FUN!!XD
This is a list of what we did: Trajectories of a Projectile, Collision on Air Track, Ideal Gas Law, The CRO, The Magnetic Force on a Current, Measuring the Wavelength of Laser Light, Atomic Spectra, Astrophysics, Scanning Electron Microscope, Superconductors, UV-visible Spectroscopy, Nanofabrication Using Laser and Optical Tweezers.
I shall elaborate more on some of these experiments that interest me.
Collision on Air Track- TOTALLY FASCINATING. This involves the application of the "relative speed of approach=relative speed of separation" for elastic collision. It really worked on this air track. When i brought one object flying at a fast speed, it is brought immediately to rest on collision with this stationary object.
Superconductors- This involves dipping a piece of superconductor, Yttrium Barius Copper Oxide in liquid nitrogen. The superconductor is then placed on a magnetic plate. The superconductor really floated and zoomed around the plate.
On top of all these fun, we were given food often- breakfast, lunch and tea break...

What's this?
Someone partially wrapped by the black cloth while doing our experiment.
She manages to break free out of that thing.

Hydrogen in its prettiest form.

Liquid hydrogen.

The curve we obtained.
En Qi and Sandra smiling after we managed to get the graph.

Pretty rainbow scene through the lens.

THIS IS SO PRETTY!!

En Qi and i in the experiment with laser. We had to wear this protective goggles when measuring the wavelength of the laser.

This place looks ablazed through the lens of my goggles.

En Qi and i. Oh no, her favourite teacher cannot be captured in this photo. =.(
